SUMMER 2025 COURSES
THE ART of LIGHT + SHADOW in PHOTOGRAPHY
Autumn 2025 Courses

Cities hold endless stories - moments of connection, contrast, and change. This course invites you to capture the character of urban spaces - the streets, architecture, parks, vehicles and city culture, with or without people. You’ll be encouraged to go beyond single images, building compelling visual stories from the vibrant complexity of urban life.
Responding intuitively to the still and fast moving details on the street, you’ll learn to identify themes, explore advanced composition, and use light and shadow to illuminate mood. Discussions on subjects, unique themes, and artistic methods – both in-camera and in editing, will aim to tame the chaotic energy bringing together your technical and creative perspective. You’ll emerge with inspiring urban stories that reveal your personal vision on the rhythm of the streets.
