Cyanotypes
Cyanotypes have a timeless appeal and in recent years have flourished as a modern art form with endless possibilities for bold and imaginative experimentation. In this 4-week course, you’ll discover the basic tools through real-time demonstrations for immediate results to build a strong foundation. From there, we’ll move into wet cyanotypes, multiple exposures, digital negatives and other creative methods for making distinctive prints.
Each week you’ll take on projects to explore new approaches, sharing your work in group reviews to highlight the range of possibilities within the process. By the end, you’ll leave with both a collection of unique cyanotypes and the inspiration to continue developing your own expressive work in this timeless medium.
